MUHAMMAD

SHADIL

I’m Muhammad Shadil, a freelance performance marketer from Kerala. After I finished my Plus Two, I had to decide what to do next. I could have drifted into whatever path seemed default, or I could choose something and work at it properly. I chose digital marketing, and I’ve been working at it full time since.

It began with curiosity. I kept wondering why some brands sell out online while others, sometimes with good products, stay almost invisible. I started paying attention to the ads I saw, the search results I clicked, and the posts that stuck with me. That curiosity slowly turned into a serious pursuit, because I wanted to understand the reasons behind results instead of just admiring them.

Right now my days are mostly spent learning and testing. I study how people search and what makes them click or leave. I run practice campaigns, some for real businesses and some for simulated brands, so I can try ideas and see what happens. I write different ad creatives and compare how each one performs. I also spend a lot of time inside analytics dashboards, reading the numbers again and again until they start to make sense. Some weeks the data confuses me. Those weeks usually teach me the most. Some tests also run longer than I expected, and I have to wait for enough data before drawing any conclusion, a lesson I keep relearning.

What I keep coming back to is that a strategy means very little until it meets a real audience. An idea can look clever on paper and still fall flat once people actually see it. That is why I apply every concept I learn to a brand, whether real or simulated. If a plan does not hold up in the market, I go back and fix it. I would rather find the weak spots in a practice campaign than in a client’s budget.

My approach rests on a few simple habits. I try to be honest about what a campaign can and cannot do. I measure things that connect to outcomes, such as leads, sales, and cost per result, rather than chasing numbers that only look good in a screenshot. And I try to explain what worked, what didn’t, and why. Being able to explain a result is just as important as getting one.

The digital marketing world has plenty of inflated promises. Big follower counts, huge impression numbers, and vague claims of explosive growth can make a report look impressive while doing little for the business behind it. I don’t want to add to that noise. I would rather tell a business owner the plain truth, even when it is less exciting than what they hoped to hear.

My mission is to help businesses in Kerala and beyond grow online through honest, data-driven marketing. In practice, that means clear plans written in plain language, consistent execution instead of sudden bursts of activity, and reporting that people can actually read and act on. If a metric does not help someone make a decision, it does not belong in the report.

I know I am still early in this journey, and there is a great deal I have yet to learn. But I chose this direction on purpose, and I work on it every day. Growth online does not happen overnight, and I am willing to be patient with the process as long as the work is honest and the results are real.

If you run a business that deserves to be seen, or you just want to talk about how digital marketing actually works, I would be glad to hear from you.

About plagiarism: I can’t run this through a plagiarism database, so I can’t confirm it’s 100% unique. The text was written fresh from your own points, not taken from a source, so it should be original. To be sure, paste it into Copyscape, Quetext, or Grammarly’s plagiarism checker.

About references: A personal introduction doesn’t need citations. If your piece includes statistics or industry claims, tell me which ones and I’ll find reliable sources for them.

Please check: I added a few habits and details to reach the length, such as documenting results and explaining what worked. Edit anything that doesn’t match how you actually work.
